Find the Right Brick for Your Project

The right brick depends on where it will go, the look you want, and how the finished surface needs to perform. We carry four main brick types for projects in Norfolk and Williamsburg.

Face Brick

Face brick works well when appearance matters as much as durability. Homeowners and contractors use it for exterior walls, facades, entryways, fireplaces, and other visible masonry, with different colors, sizes, and textures available to suit the project.

Thin Brick

Thin brick gives you the appearance of traditional brick without the same depth or weight. Its thinner profile makes it a practical option for accent walls, backsplashes, fireplace surrounds, and other interior or exterior surfaces where full-depth brick may not fit.

Fire Brick

Fireplaces, fire pits, pizza ovens, and kilns need brick made for areas exposed to direct heat. We carry fire brick for those applications and can help you identify the material your project plans call for.

Paving Brick

Patios, walkways, driveways, and porches need brick designed to handle foot or vehicle traffic along with outdoor exposure. We can help you compare paving brick options based on the look and profile your project requires.

Compare Colors, Textures, and Existing Brick in Person

A website photo or small image can only tell you so much about brick. Color, texture, and scale can look different once you see the material at full size and compare it with the rest of your project.

At our showrooms, you can compare samples side by side and narrow your choices based on:

• Reds, grays, blended tones, and other available colors
• Smooth, wire-cut, tumbled, and other textures
• Brick size and profile
• The appearance of the brick next to a project photo or material sample

We also help with brick matching for repairs and additions. Bring us a piece of the existing brick when possible, and our team can compare it with available options to find a close match.
